Thank you for your interest in my services that I provide with my company, NYCSTAR HOSPITALITIES. I am excited to meet you and show off my city to you.
I am a native New Yorker from the Lower East Side of Manhattan (LES) who is also a professional Dancer, Actor, and Educator. I have been a licensed NYC Tour Guide since 2002 that’s now over 20 years first on the double decker buses. A Concert Dancer and Teacher for over 20 years and a recently new Actor who you might see in a few commercials here and there.
I thought becoming a NYC Tour Guide in 2002, on the double decker buses would be a great side hustle while pursuing my career as a professional Concert Dancer to help implement more income. And I was right. Not only was it a wonderful opportunity for me to pursue my dream of becoming a professional dancer, but I also got to work on my public speaking, performance skills, and share my knowledge and love of my native city with people from all over the world. I love this job! It is education and entertaining wrapped up =EduTaining.
However, I soon discovered working for these tour companies and travel agencies, they recycled itineraries and tour routes that focused on same ole popular landmarks and neighborhoods while neglecting the vibrant diversity and communities that also make up NYC and it's people that make NYC so great. So, I began to curate tours and itineraries to include these hidden gems, stories, and neighborhoods that were often neglected.
Confident in my knowledge of the city, my background in the performing arts, teaching, my experiences traveling, and my knowledge of my hometown NYC, I decided to take my side hustle job and make it into a small business: NYC STAR HOSPITALITIES LLC where I can curate and produce tourism events and private tours that are immersive in NYC culture and history that would include these neglected neighborhoods, businesses, landmarks, history and people. To me, it is all like putting on a show.
Being a small business owner, I continue to fulfill my purpose which is making connections through creativity, performance arts, and education while making a conscious effort to include the diversity of New York City to make a positive impact on my community and the people I serve.

TONY VEIGA
Creative Art Director & Tour Director
Tony Veiga from Barcelona and longtime NYC enthusiast and New Yorker. His idea of traveling is to see other perspectives and learn about different cultures not just explore the most popular tourist attractions.
Tony has an excellent eye for detail and will try almost anything once. He is an extensive traveler who have traveled throughout Southeast Asia, Northern Africa, the South Pacific, Europe, and most of the United States. Tony's travel philosophy is to take part in the local culture of his host city and experience it more like a native and less like a tourist.
Primarily, Tony is a Creative Art Director and Graphic Art Designer in Advertising for over twenty years. He is a NYC Tour Guide apprentice and has a great smile.

Sheena Bowman native New Yorker from the Lower East Side is a Chemist, Entrepreneur, and Beer Enthusiast.
Sheena created her own nanny service to help professional women organize work and family as her side hustle to finish her masters in Bio Chemistry.
